Our driving range is the hotbed of junior golf instruction in Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. The very popular and well attended free "Golf Clinics” sponsored by the Junior Golf Foundation of Fredericksburg have introduced hundreds of children to the game of golf over the past years. Through the partnership with Boot Ranch, the weekly clinics run from June through August and allow the children access to both facilities.
In summertime, we co-host a series of golf tournaments for kids, ages 7-13, known as the Hill Country Junior League, involving 3 local golf courses. These events are fun for kids and adults alike. The Hill Country Junior League brings together boys and girls of all skill levels, to learn and play in a supportive, two or three-person scramble format, that encourages mentorship, builds confidence and promotes sportsmanship. Each match is 6-holes in length (or 2 hours, whichever comes first) and includes a modified par 3, 4 and 5.
